Anniversaries
Several employees hit major milestones with Railinc in 2023 – including three individuals celebrating 25 years of service! Read the thoughts from a few of our team members who observed important anniversaries this year.
I cannot believe it has been 25 years since I started working at Railinc. From day one, I have enjoyed the culture, the people, and my various roles and managers. Most importantly, the number one thing that has kept me here for so long is the flexibility and work/life balance that Railinc has always promoted.
Railinc will always be a part of me. I’ll continue to enjoy watching the company evolve with the times. It’s such an interesting industry, and I’m happy to be a small part of it. So, for now, I’ll continue riding the train. It’s not quite time for me to get off yet.

There have been many changes in my 25 plus years here at Railinc. A few things have not changed; and in many cases gotten better. They are the dedication the company has always shown to their employees with benefits and work environment. I started in Railinc as a mainframe programmer in 1999. During my tenure, I have worked with several technological challenges at Railinc, from Y2K to the AWS cloud migration. Our 25th anniversary is a celebration of the countless hours, the challenges overcome, and the relationships built over the years. I take pride in the journey I have traveled, the challenges I have conquered, and the positive impact I have made on the organizations and people I have worked with. I wholeheartedly thank Railinc for giving me such a great opportunity and I’m looking forward to many more such years to come.

There is something really special about the people that work at Railinc – there is a demeanor of kindness that goes along with everything. Couple that with having individuals who love to teach other people about what they know, how things work, and why, makes Railinc an incredible place to work. There has been a great deal of change in the time I have been here. I don’t labor under the illusion that it will look the same in 10 years as it does right now, but it’s been a really fun journey so far and I look forward to what comes next with the company.

The company has always encouraged collaboration, innovation, professional growth, and wellness. This has allowed me to continuously learn, develop my skills and stay healthy. Railinc's commitment to stay on the bleeding edge of technology has allowed me to work through three stages of infrastructure, from mainframe to midrange and finally to the cloud! I am looking forward to what is coming next.
