How do I know if my railroad is eligible?

Demand Trace is available free of charge for ASLRRA member railroads affected by COVID-19 who are not already Demand Trace customers.

When is this available?

This program will run from May 1st, 2020, to October 15, 2020. Program participants will not be charged for Demand Trace access during this time. 

How long will it take to get access to Demand Trace if I sign up?

You should be up and running with Demand Trace within about 24-48 hours of returning the signed service order form to Railinc. Participants will be set up on a first-come-first-serve basis. Railinc will send the service order form to you after you submit the sign-up form on our website. 

I've never used RailSight or Demand Trace. Will it take me a long time to understand?

Most customers find RailSight's Demand Trace web service to be user friendly and simple to understand. Once you've signed up, Railinc can provide access to user guides. Additionally, our Customer Success Center is available 24/7 for any application support that you may need. 

Will I be charged?

Access to Demand Trace is free from May 1, 2020 to October 15, 2020. Participants will not be charged during the access period.

Do I have to cancel before October 15, 2020? 

No, participants do not have to cancel their subscription to Demand Trace. Railinc will do so automatically on October 15, 2020. However, if participants wish to continue to use Demand Trace after October 15, 2020, they can purchase the product by contacting the Customer Success Center

What are my next steps after filling out the sign-up form?

Railinc will email you a document from info@railinc.com to complete and return to our team. You will have to create an account with Railinc if you do not already have one. Instructions will be provided via email.
